- Account Information: Email address and password collected via Firebase Authentication.
- Usage Data: Non-identifying, aggregated usage information to improve performance and features.
- Saved Recipes & Grocery Lists: User-generated items stored securely in your Firebase Firestore account.

4. Data Storage & Security
We use Google Firebase services for secure authentication and data storage. Your information is protected using industry-standard security and encryption. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Account data (email, saved recipes, grocery lists) is retained as long as your account remains active. You may delete your account at any time to remove all personal data from our systems.
5. Third-Party Services
The App integrates limited third-party services such as Google Firebase (for authentication and cloud storage) and Spoonacular API (for recipe data retrieval). These partners follow industry-standard privacy and security practices. No personal data is shared with Spoonacular or any recipe provider.
6. Device Permissions
The App may request access to your device’s biometric authentication solely to enable secure login. No biometric data is collected or stored by us or Firebase.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
